The Small Systems course is designed to ensure that the student is knowledgeable in the following areas of Water and Water Treatment: Sources of Water, Characteristics of Water, Purpose of Chlorine, How Chlorine Works, How to Test the Chlorine Residual, Inspecting and Maintaining Pumps, Safety, Operations and Maintenance Procedures, Record Keeping and Water License Requirements. This course is designed to assist Water Plant Operator with the operation and maintenance of a small water treatment system.
