This course introduces the student to the key aspects of budgeting, record keeping and financial management relevant to a community recreation operation. The student will become familiar with preparing and administering a budget for recreation services as well as understand the budget planning process and accountability requirements. Other course components include lottery licence applications and reporting, concession management and developing fundraising proposals and projects.
