Course Description:
Ten days in duration, the course is designed for community government staff or private contractors responsible for the maintenance of community airport facilities. Better understand their roles and responsibilities in the maintenance of community airports. Topic cover in the course include airport regulations,daily inspections, airfield markers and lighting maintenance , equipment operations and maintenance, safety and security procedures , building maintenance, runway surface maintenance, accident / incident reporting and three days of practical training on the runway including airside vehicle operators permit , radiotelephone operators restricted certification.
