The Community Government of Whati is seeking a Public Works Superintendent. Reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer, the Public Works Superintendent is responsible for the management, administration and delivery of all Community Government of Whati public works programs and services in order to ensure that Whati residents receive effective and appropriate services.
While work actual hours may fluctuate, depending on service requirements, the position is expected to work a standard 40 hour week and supervise a department of approximately 8 staff.

The ideal candidate
- must have a Valid Driver’s License,
- must provide a Criminal Record Check,
- must have a Grade 12 minimum,
- must have a strong practical and proven background in municipal public works operations,
- should have good computer skills, and
- should have proven verbal & written communication skills.

Although not an excluding factor, additional consideration will be provided for candidates who are fluent in Tlicho.
