Administration / Utilities Clerk

ONE-YEAR TERM POSITION

  • This is a one-year term position.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum qualification is completion of Grade 12 with at least 2 years experience in an office setting combined with office procedures and related administrative experience.
  • Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Vadim iCity software will be an asset.
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Ability to work with the general public in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills.

DUTIES

• Perform the day to day processing of utility transactions to ensure that municipal finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
• Provide administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations.
• Provide administrative support as requested for Council Meetings.
• Perform other related duties as required.

SALARY

  • This is a unionized position and is compensated at Range 5 of the Collective Agreement, plus benefits.
